So, last night I didn't fall asleep until 1am, nautrally.
I woke up about an hour later than I had originally planned but whatever.
Needless to say, with about 5 hours of sleep in my system, I was exhausted. I was also hungry because the half hour I was going to spend eating a hearty breakfast was me sleeping through my alarm. I had but a piece of bread before having to leave.
So, at first I thought I wouldn't be able to make the first 45 minutes before the break, when we first started I was so hungry, but eventually I did that whole "mind over matter" thing and was able to think past the hunger.
So, the test runs from about 8am-1pm (I had to report to my room by 7:45).
that's 6 hours more or less, that is a whole school day.
That is too long.
I was the only Hispanic in my room and when the girl passed back our cell phones, my name was the only one she couldn't pronounce (in fact she didn't even bother to try, she just waved my cell phone in the air and asked who's it was).
Oh, also, I took some chocolate almonds in my hoodie so I could eat during break, one of them ended up falling in my chair and melting all over my pleather jacket, thankfully none got on my pants for that, as I was telling my friend Cynthia, would of been hard to explain.
So finally, I got out and as I was opening the door to head out, it opened for me, and a boy I hadn't seen since 8th grade stood on the other side. It took him a while to recognize me because I look so different but he did and we hugged and it was nice.
Then, I got home, planned to do homework but instead watched Marie Antoinette and took a nap. Right now, I just finished my English homework and am just being lazy. I think I deserve it, with the day I had.
